These are so easy to make and can transform an ordinary cake into a celabratory centre-piece!1. Give yourself plenty of time. These babies have to be dry to be functional. We allow one week as the weather effects drying time.
2. Use florists wire 20g. White or silver looks best.
3. Hook the end of the wire that will be inserted into the fondant cut out using a pair of pliers. This prevents the cut-out from spinning on the wire and gives a greater surface area for adherance.
4. Apply sugar glue to the hooked wire prior to insertion. This also helps to stabilise and adhere.
5. Dry flat.After two days of drying turn the wires over to allow both sides drying time.
